Our Tenets
- We live in the light of friendship. Officers have a specific title and job scope, but our roles are interchangeable when it comes to work that needs to be done.
- We walk in the path of chivalry. As a volunteer organization, we prioritize our work based on level of importance and urgency and utilize our limited resources to the most important and urgent items first. Once we determine priority, we do not re-debate the resolution.
- We serve for the love of service. Brothers will participate at their own level of interest and commitment. Aside from officers who pledge their commitment to the work, we do not require or judge the consistency of any Brother’s level of engagement.
- We are bridge builders. In that order, we make decisions based on what is best for the membership as a whole, then for specific individuals or small groups of members, then the Rhode Island local economy.
